The Westwind is an executive medium jet, it is also called: Aero Commander 1121 Jet Commander and is one of the most famous airplanes of the aircraft manufacturing industry in Israel. Originally designed in the U.S., it has capacity for 7 to 10 passengers and a crew of 2, its first flying was on January 27 of 1963.
It has two engines on the later fuselage and wings in the halfway up, after some series of tests it was sent to production and was available for commercial use in 1965, but after the first models were built the fuselage length was modified (2 feet and 6 inches) to permit a better payload capacity
It is used for civil and military transportation. Civil uses in: Canada, Australia, and the U.S. And military purposes in: Uganda, Chile, Honduras, Panama, Israel, Mexico, U.S. and Ecuador. At present a total of 442 units of this jet were built.
