History

This is a medium turboprop jet with a single engine (Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 turboprop, PT6A-67B) manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft, is used for the transport of passengers and cargo. It made its first flight with two prototypes on May 31st of 1991 and continued until 2014 with a total of 1,300 units.

It can reach heights of 30,000 ft (9144 m) in 26.5 minutes and has a cruise speed of 500 km/h. This model has six variants: PC-12/41 (Is the first one of the series), PC-12/45 (has a maximum takeoff weight of 4,500 kg.), PC-12/47 (has a maximum takeoff weight of 4,740 kg), PC-12/47E (has a noise measured at 90 dBA in the cabin), PC-12M Spectre (specially used for military operations by the U.S.) and U-28A.
