Global 6000 Interior

History

The Bombardier Global 6000, part of the Global Express line by Bombardier, is a large business jet that first entered into service in 2012. Powered by Rolls Royce turbofan jet engines, the Global 6000 can carry a maximum of 17 passengers and can fly over 6,000 nautical miles.

Due to advanced wing technology, the wings are capable of flexing more than any other aircraft in its class. This allows the Global 6000 to handle turbulence much more efficiently and creates an incredibly comfortable ride for passengers.

Interior

The Global 6000 is capable of carrying 17 passengers and is able to provide luxurious creature comforts. The cabin has a height of 6 feet, 2 inches. This allows great mobility throughout. The cabin is nearly 8 feet wide, ensuring that passengers have plenty of room. Thanks to a pressurized baggage storage compartment, passengers can access their belongings throughout the flight.

The cabin is enabled with Ka-Band technology, providing internet to any connected devices in the cabin — regardless of the plane’s location in the world. Also, the Global 6000 provides touchscreen-enabled devices throughout the cabin to control a multitude of cabin settings.

Performance

The Global 6000 offers an unprecedented 6,000 nautical mile range while cruising close to Mach .9 or 690 miles per hour. The Rolls Royce turbofans provide over 14,500 pounds of thrust.

Due to receiving a Steep Approach-approved certificate, the Global 6000 can land at any of Europe’s smaller fields, making Aspen to London an easy feat. The Global 6000’s wing loading is the highest in its class, which is critical to its smooth rides.

Conclusion

The Global 6000 provides top class performance. In terms of speed and range, it outperforms much of the competition. Pair that with the ability to carry 17 passengers, the Global 6000 can do anything asked of it.
